The Raiders, who also won the 2005 championship, were led by their big righthanded ace Vallier, who dispatched 10 batters on strikeouts over 4 innings, striking out 7 of the final 8 batters he faced. Garrison contributed a 3 run homer while ex-Brave firstbaseman Chad Storring added 2 runs on 3 hits. The big Raider blast was courtesy of Mike Londry, a diamond neophyte who drove a 3 run blast over Megaffin's screen monster in left field to give QE a 6-1 lead in the third inning.
